Change the redo keyboard shortcut?

The shortcut to undo an action is ctrl-z, which is good. But it throws me off when I try to hit ctrl-y to redo and it inserts ++++. When this happens I lose a bit of data. Its not usually a big issue, but I think its more common for ctrl-y to redo, instead of ctrl+shift+z
